iPhone SE Specification, Top Relevant Features, Price and All About iPhone SE

Apple just dry up the iPhone 6S, its greatest iPhone ever. Hence was born, the iPhone SE. No 5s or 6s there, yet it packs in the best of both worlds. So, why did Apple take a U-turn, two years after giving in to the 'bigger-is-better' noise? Purely because people 'still' love smaller phones. To echo the fact, it stated - during its Loop You in event in Cupertino, California - that it sold over 30-million 4-inch iPhones last year. The iPhone SE was only but predictable.

The iPhone SE is not too hard to figure up. It's an iPhone 6S stuck inside an iPhone 5S' body. Flagship-grade machinery inside a cute, compact sized form factor that also costs much lesser, that's the iPhone SE for you, on paper. Here's a closer look.

Design and figure out excellence
The iPhone SE looks accurately like the iPhone 5S. It boasts of a alike all-metal build with chamfered edges (and rounded corners) along with a rear camera module that sits flush inside the body and front mounted Touch ID fingerprint scanner. The camera single-handed has to be the biggest highlight here, as different in the case of the iPhone 6S this one is part and parcel of the body. This means you won't have to worry about getting it scratched when you accidently force it hard on to a exterior.
There are delicate changes over the iPhone 5S. Gone is the shiny silvery highpoint along the edge that was so prone to scratches. It has now been replaced by a smoother matter finish that kind of blends into the whole thing. Also, you get a color-matched stainless steel Apple logo this time round.

Display
The new iPhone SE comes with a 4-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD (Retina) display with a 640 x 1136 pixels’ resolution. Sadly, it's absent out on the 3D Touch pressure-sensitive display technology that for now stays high-class to the iPhone 6S (and iPhone 6S Plus).

Processor and storage.
The iPhone SE is driven by the same processor as the iPhone 6S, which is a 64-bit A9 chip (with M9 motion co-processor for an always-on 'Hey Siri'). It will be offered in 16GB and 64GB memory variants. Expandable storage is not supported.

Battery
The phone is supported by a non-removable 1,642 mAh battery.

Software
Apple SE runs on Apple's latest iOS 9.3 update out-of-the-box that brings in some key developments over previous group iOS 9. The new iOS 9.3 update (out now) will allow users to selectively password-protect Notes, as also familiarizes a Night Shift mode that 'automatically shifts the colors in your display to the warmer end of the spectrum' post sunset.

Camera

The iPhone SE sports a 12-megapixel iSight camera on the rear with f/2.2 aperture and dual LED (dual tone) flash alike to the one on the iPhone 6S. Live Photos and 4K video are supported. There's also a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera on the front with f/2.4 aperture.

Pricing and availability
The iPhone SE will be available in the colors: space grey, silver, gold and rose gold in 16GB and 64GB models starting at Rs.39,000 from Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers. It will be available in India On early April.
