Apple making a huge iPhone : NEWS


          Apple’s much-speculated iPhone with OLED screen may also be its largest yet. Permitting to a report in Motley Fool, quoting a Digi times report, the technology huge is working on a 5.8-inch iPhone with organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display.

           The smartphone would be Apple's first iPhone with an OLED display, a technology that Samsung contained years ago for its Galaxy series. Presently, iPhone 6s Plus is the Apple's largest phone with a 5.5-inch LCD, capacitive touchscreen.

          According to an previous statement in Apple Insider, quoting Nikkei, the technology giant is planning to incorporate OLED display technology in its iPhone line-up in 2017, a year earlier than previous estimates.


        The NEWS, however, says that the technology will be limited to certain high-end models due to supply constraints.

        The Cupertino massive is expected to leverage on OLED's properties to design a curved handset. However, according to Apple Insider report, the tight deadline for 2017 may hurt these plans. "Manufacturers don't have enough time to ensure panel reliability in conjunction with a potentially unconventional design, and Apple wants to bring OLED to market as soon as possible," the report said.
              Lately, a Chinese website reported that Apple will introducing a high-end version of iPhone 7 Plus with dual cameras which could be named "iPhone Pro."

Hot Remark

              In a research note, KGI Securities Ming-Chi-Kuo too had said that Apple is working on two versions of iPhone 7, one with a single-lens camera and the other with a dual-lens camera.


            Giving to the message, the rumored iPhone 7 Plus model with a dual-lens camera would be based on the imaging algorithms of Linux Imaging. Apple developed the Israeli camera company in 2015.
